- Craig Havlock 17/07/2025Had the best time at BPW. I’m a wheelchair user so ride an adapted mountain bike and after emailing before arrival I had all the info I needed. Tried and tested trails routes to use to get to top of the hill. Couldn’t fault Gavin at all so thank you. Good disabled parking and the cafe/ shop area is accessible. The food from the cafe is top notch. Overall I was very impress with BPW. It was the first of many trips. Thank youread moreread less

Great trails. One suggestion would be to make it more obvious which run is which from the start ramp at the top. We made the mistake of ending up on a Black when we were going for a Red as it is not clear which side of the sign the actual run is as they are all so close together.read moreread less
- Dom Young 17/07/2025Really enjoyable day out. The trails are well maintained and there's plenty of choice for all abilities. Our only criticism is the location of the uplift, which from the end of nearly all the trails involves a very steep uphill walk. By the afternoon we found the walk up to be draining. Just relocate the pick up point to the bottom of the hill.read moreread lessJohn Shefford 16/07/2025Had a fantastic 53rd birthday at BPW. There were no queues for uplifts and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Had the fajitas for lunch and they were really nice. - No Aah 15/07/2025Best treat I could give myself. Really fun especially for a group of intermediate/beginners to mtb. It’s an easier park to navigate, things are signposted and trails kept on top of, clear graded structure to help with progression. All that makes it easier coming in as a new’ish bunch of riders.read moreread less
- Stu Bell 15/07/2025100% the best day out on a bike, doesn’t matter your level of riding, BPW has something for everyone, the green Kermit trail is fun and flowing, the tech red trails and super fun and the blacks are just mad. We travelled 10hours there and back and would do it again! Thanks!!read moreread lessJames Cochlin 14/07/2025My son and I love BPW the place is brilliant, uplift runs like clockwork, trails are amazing and the visitor centre set-up is excellent. Food is reasonably priced and a very good quality. My only negative is the price for juniors, having to pay over £100 for a day out with an 11 year old is difficult and if you don't book a full day online you run the risk of not being able to pay as you ride when you arrive as it may be fully booked. It would be great and beneficial to the sport if children under 16 were at a discounted rate as it's a very expensive day out when paying for 2 passes and maybe only doing 4 or 5 runs. Everything else is perfect!!!read moreread less

- Dave Bennett 14/07/2025I have been to BPW a number of times since it opened in 2013. Being relatively local helps. The three of us today spanned three generations with me the 'Old Man'. It was my grandson's (15) first visit and he loved it. We got nine uplifts and plus my son, we had a blast. The trails were very dry but a little loose in places but none of us had an off on the blues and reds that we rode. Oh, and Kermit, which is a lovely flowy trail despite being a Green. In all, For me, it was the best day yet at BPW. All your efforts seem to be on building new 'difficult' trails. I know that these are popular but it would be nice to seen some new Blues as well.read moreread lessDarren Teagles 14/07/2025Very efficient uplift, great food available and great organisation overallread moreread less
- lee ticehurst 14/07/2025Great bike park but customer service is lacking. Booked 2 uplifts a while back, went to book 2 bike 2 days before we were booked to ride, put 2 bikes in the basket but then decided we wanted to pay seperately. Clicked back booked and paid for one then returned and no bikes available, emailed them and then called in the morning to be advised couldn't do anything and no refunds as now within the 48hrs. Had a bad experiance last time we rode there. Will go again as the riding is so good but won't expect any help from the customer service =(read moreread less

Easy to remember phrases, patience and repetitions helped my confidence and in turn my riding - with lots of laughs thrown in. I had two days booked at BPW and unfortunately just before we left my father past away. We went anyway. I soon realised when I got there I was not in the right place to be hurling down a hill at high speed and far too emotional to be riding. I asked for my two lots of tickets to be rescheduled (we had spent £240 pounds on two days for me and my husband ) and explained what had happened to be told on a personal level the manager totally understood but on a business level he wouldn’t be able to sell those tickets with a loss to the park. Eventually he agreed to move one ticket. It’s definitely not the way to keep customers coming back and I am really disappointed and saddened by the direction of the park which seems to be turning margin before customer care.read moreread less

I do really like being up there and have a ME time! Weather was great, probably too nice for Wales 🏴😅 pretty busy, which wasn’t a surprise being Friday and with such nice weather, but the uplift crew was on point and there wasn’t much queuing. I do like the new meal format, really like the BPW Burger, especially the Send it version. It’s so much better than what I had last year. I glad you guys improved this as last year it was just awful and most of the time ended up just bringing my own food… Also if I may suggest, especially for the hot weathers, can you not install a wending machine at the uplift area? It would be so much more convenient to grab a cold drink there than pedal down to visitor centre and then back just cause you ran out of water or drinks? Just a thought but would save a lot of riding time for us who wants as many rides in as possible.👍 Thank you! I’ll be back as soon as I can 👍read moreread less
- Gavin Greathead (Forest9993) 29/06/20251st time here and it doesn’t disappoint. The uplift runs very slick. Food in the cafe is great. The whole setting in the woods with the trails and jumps is amazing. If I had one complaint it’d be only having one toilet in the main block. - T 25/06/2025Thanks for the reply to my previous review—updating with more detail. This is a great park with fantastic trails, but I’m really disappointed in the new uplift policy for kids. Now, children have to pay the same price as adults to secure an uplift spot, even though kids (and their parents) clearly use less capacity and probably only do a third of the runs. Management has removed the option to guarantee uplifts for kids unless you buy a full adult pass for them, which just isn’t practical for families. The “Littleuns” event isn’t available on standard days, only as a half-day uplift, and it only covers one child. As a parent of three children who often comes for two full days, this makes it impossible for us to enjoy the park as we used to. We’ve been regulars for years, but sadly, these changes mean we won’t be back. I hope the management reconsiders the pricing and uplift options for families.read moreread lessSean S 25/06/2025Rented an eMTB for the day and the first hour was a waste of my money and time. My first time using an e bike and a full sus. The bloke introduced me to the bike well and said the bike had just been serviced and sent me on my way. During the up climb, the pedals were constantly hitting the trail. I returned to the hire area and they adjusted the rear shoch and said that will do it. Around half way up, the bike felt lower and the pedals starting hitting the trail again. I returned and they then changed out the shock. For the amount of money this experience costs, this shouldn't have happened. The seat dropper didn't hold weight either and would return to the lower position. The bike park itself is awesome but I won't be renting a bike there again.read moreread less
- Justin Lewis 22/06/2025Premier Uplift Centre in Uk. Extensive parking. Cafe and bike shop onsite. Plenty of buses running in the uplift. Well curated and maintained trails. Good information all round about TTFs and what you will encounter (e.g. signs telling you if a trail has gap jumps and example features at start of trails). Informative website too. Great staff. Grading and classification of trails is good. Plenty of Blue options making this a really accessible centre for those learning or honing skills. Gets busy at the weekends but spaces capped and uplift capacity is matched to volume. I typically get about 3 runs an hour and given the length of the trails I think that’s pretty good. I’ll leave the riding clips to the people with more skills than me!read moreread lessDave Greaves 21/06/2025Snapped my chain stays on both sides on the dropin on one of the blues at the start. - Razvan Secu 31/03/2025The trails themselves are fantastic.Given the premium price, basic amenities like a working pump at the trailhead should be a given. Unfortunately, the area around the trailhead is poorly maintained, with a strong, unpleasant odor that makes your eyes water. People should learn to use the provided facilities.Additionally, while trail capacity has increased, the visitor area hasn’t kept pace, making it difficult to find a spot to eat lunch. As for the food, the fries were disappointing and not worth ordering, go straight for the chilli special.Posted this here because it wasn t accepted on their website, seems they only accept the 5 stars reviews.read moreread less

From a customer experience standpoint this is really frustrating. Now my refund has finally been acknowledged being told it takes an (additional) 7-10 days to make the transaction. But because they are closed Tues and wed no-one picked up the phone or responded to emails until the day of the trip at which point I got told "tough" because I hadn't given them more than 48 hours notice. Which was before I was ill. It had been a trip for my birthday and a mates belated 40th. As with others I just wanted to push that date out to another time when I was well. - Wayne L 25/10/2024I've been coming here for a few years now, and each time, we have always enjoyed the trails. There is absolutely amazing and plenty of choice for everyone can fault them. Only a couple of things are slightly annoying. The uplifts seem to take take so long on a Saturday as the capacity was full. I never saw it as busy as that. They have changed the food we were looking forward to the baguette type rolls they used to do but was met with a crappy looking sandwich went with this option as I couldn't eat a burger then do more trails. Was quite expensive for what it was. Also, don't take cash anymore. Let's hope the Internet doesn't go down. Only got 5 runs in on Sat. Queue in the morning for the handle bar bands was rediculous, followed by the uplift queue, which meant we didn't get on trial till 10.40am. - Steven Williams 26/09/2024Crap portal and booking services.....dont bother. Instead. go to the free original and better ride centres, Like Afan, Brefcha, etc, support the other free trail heads, instead of these overpriced con artists, save yourself £50 for the day. It'll work out well over £100 for a single afternoon for two, too expensive..... Had a response that they dished the other trail centres, but having been most of them over 20yrs experience, and raced on a few, (which reads like the BPW havent in a while) the other trail heads are still top notch, and free albiet more natural. - Tabea Mo 19/09/2024Wir sind extra nach Wales gefahren und ein zweites Mal im Bike Park fahren zu können. Nothing else comes close for the sheer variety, length and quality of terrain at the park. However, significant price rises in recent years and gradual increases in the numbers of people on site has diminished the offering here significantly. The day uplift price (£53) is quite simply extortionate considering this is significantly more expensive than a number of significant ski resorts and is only valid for 6 hours, well short of most lift-served resorts. The increase in numbers has led to strain on infrastructure (somehow there is only a single male cubicle on site to use for hundreds of people) and on the uplift. There were queues of over 25 minutes for a bus for the first hour or so of service (so 7% of your time to sit in a queue). These issues were irritating considering the £36ish per day I paid when I first starting using the park, but are completely unacceptable now that they are charging £53 (which will probably go up again soon given the recent trajectory). I understand price rises have affected everything but this is simply not a reasonable value proposition any more.read moreread less

BE WARNED!read moreread lessJames Stace 29/08/2024Visited with my family of 7 & 3 dogs from Eastbourne (Sussex) and had a great time. It was hard splitting myself in half and accommodating my older experienced boys 14 & 15 who like the red & black runs and my younger boys who can only ride the green but managed to work it as the wife was watching the dogs! Overall it’s a great place to visit, the setting is great, it feels a lot like the skiing experience but with wheels. Staff, food, drink were great too. Will definitely return.read moreread less
- Bunjiman 22/08/2024Wow, what a day out fast and fun. The staff are brilliant, super friendly and helpful, the food is great (coffee is a bit too pricy), and they're setup for people camping over and staying late with firepit areas. Plus they have an awesome bike shop, What's not to love man!read moreread less
About
BikePark Wales was born from a passion to create the best mountain bike facility in the UK, the UK’s first full scale bike park to rival the best in the World. The BikePark Wales team have slaved day and night for 5 years to create this incredible facility. BikePark Wales is built for riders, by riders.
For intermediate mountain bikers through to seasoned downhill pro’s, BikePark Wales will offer you an incredible biking experience unlike anything you have experienced in the UK before. We even have a 1KM green run for beginners and can offer coaching sessions for riders at any level. The concept is simple, picture a ski resort, remove the snow and replace the pistes with an array of sweeping flowy bike trails meandering to the bottom of the mountain and you are close. Add a bunch of adrenalin and big sprinkle of fun and you are pretty much there. BikePark Wales is an exhilarating way to spend your day in the Welsh mountains. Our series of lift assisted trails for riders of all abilities offer the ultimate riding experience. With a mix of incredible all weather roller coaster trails and some of the best natural Singletrack the UK has to offer, we challenge you to control the silly grin on your face at the bottom of each run. Uplift: Our fleet of mini buses will transport you quickly, safely and comfortably to 491m, the top of our mountain, Myndd Gethin. You will be dropped off at the very top of the hill right next to the start of our trails. All that remains to do is select your route and whoop and holler your way back to the bottom of the mountain in time to catch the next lift up. If you would rather not use our uplift and you feel up to the challenge we also have a Singletrack climb so you can pedal your way to the top of the hill before choosing your route down.WHY PAY TO RIDE?
BikePark Wales is a unique mountain biking venue. We are the first place in the UK to have a full time crew looking after our trails and ensuring they are kept in great condition for your riding pleasure. BikePark Wales will also never be finished, we will continually re-invest in the park and create new sections of trail for your enjoyment. Our aim is to always be one of the best mountain biking destinations in the World, a must visit spot for all mountain bikers. Your entry fee will help us maintain and grow our trail network for years to come. Any rider caught trespassing on the trails without a valid pass will be fined on the spot, this will be enforced by our marshalls. Please play fair and help us grow the venue for everyone to enjoy.COMPANY VALUES

Our bus uplift fleet will transport you to the Summit of Mynydd Gethin at 491 metres elevation so you can enjoy the amazing variety of world class descending trails we offer. Simply select the day you wish to visit and follow the simple process to purchase your day pass, we strongly recommend pre-booking as day passes are seldom available on-spec. By purchasing an uplift day pass (price includes park entry) you have access to the uplift service for the duration of your visit and are able to use the uplift service as many times as you wish to maximise fun on the trails. Typically day pass riders are able to complete 10+ runs in a day giving them as much as 3,000 vertical metres of downhill single track heaven. If you are unable to pre-book your day pass you can arrive on a day of your choice and purchase a pedal pass and use the uplift on a pay as you go basis. Please note that pay as you go riders will only be able to get onto the uplift service when a seat becomes available. As a result, waiting times will vary depending on how busy the system is. Please remember that children aged 16 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times (including on the trails and on the uplift), no adult, no ride, no refund! If a booking is made for a person under the age of 17 you must notify BikePark Wales as soon as you book, notifying us of who will be accompanying them. There are no refunds if you turn up alone. Please note any bike with a tyre wider then 2.75″ will not fit onto our uplift trailers. Our trailers have been adapted to take childrens bikes with wheels 14 inches in diameter and larger. Please provide a valid mobile phone number when booking as we will need this to contact via mass text you if we have to close the park due to extreme weather conditionsPhotos
