I hired a bike which was well maintained and performed without fault all day. Only trouble is, it's made my local trails seem a bit boring.read moreread less

- Wayne L 25/10/2024I've been coming here for a few years now, and each time, we have always enjoyed the trails. There is absolutely amazing and plenty of choice for everyone can fault them. Only a couple of things are slightly annoying. The uplifts seem to take take so long on a Saturday as the capacity was full. I never saw it as busy as that. They have changed the food we were looking forward to the baguette type rolls they used to do but was met with a crappy looking sandwich went with this option as I couldn't eat a burger then do more trails. Was quite expensive for what it was. Also, don't take cash anymore. Let's hope the Internet doesn't go down. Only got 5 runs in on Sat. Queue in the morning for the handle bar bands was rediculous, followed by the uplift queue, which meant we didn't get on trial till 10.40am. All in all, it's a great place, but getting a bit silly with the food and drink prices I'd suggest bringing your own scran and drink. Paid 11£ something for a crap sandwich, coke, packet of crisps, and muffin p#ss takersread moreread lessLuca Micheli 25/10/2024Un des meilleurs spots ou j'ai roulé. - Edward Goodeve-Docker 18/10/2024A must visit place for any self respecting mountain biker. Lovely staff, great setup and best of all, amazing trails. Serious amount of work has gone into making this not only a fun place to visit but also pretty safe (Well,as much as it can be hurling yourself down a hill on two wheels). I can hit high speeds safely in the knowledge there won't be any unexpected hazards Also, their workshop team are also great, and good value tooread moreread lessandrew duff 18/10/2024An Amazing Day at Bike Park Wales! I had a fantastic time at Bike Park Wales. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived, making the experience even more enjoyable. The variety of trails is amazing, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re a beginner or more advanced. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time here. I’ll definitely be back!read moreread less
- Martin Jermy 18/10/2024Drove from Norwich to BPW on 11.10.24. Cannot rate this place enough , absolutely phenomenal. We were on the uplift all day , very slick operation . Sixtapod, Willys Waver and Terrys Belly were amongst a few we rode . Such a great place , staff, food , and the parks set up . - Brett Barton 01/10/2024Ideal location, staff are nothing short of amazing, bike shop spares aren't halfords prices but won't break bank either, and usually stock more too! Trails have wo derful mixture of everything from styles to ability and generally an excellent annual day out, just wish it was more often!read moreread lessSteven Williams 26/09/2024Crap portal and booking services.....dont bother. Instead. go to the free original and better ride centres, Like Afan, Brefcha, etc, support the other free trail heads, instead of these overpriced con artists, save yourself £50 for the day. It'll work out well over £100 for a single afternoon for two, too expensive..... Had a response that they dished the other trail centres, but having been most of them over 20yrs experience, and raced on a few, (which reads like the BPW havent in a while) the other trail heads are still top notch, and free albiet more natural. Yes, some could do with a bit of TLC, However, Reading reviews here, sounds like a few of the trails remain shut at BPW, so shut the f'ck up BPW....read moreread less
Nothing else comes close for the sheer variety, length and quality of terrain at the park. However, significant price rises in recent years and gradual increases in the numbers of people on site has diminished the offering here significantly. The day uplift price (£53) is quite simply extortionate considering this is significantly more expensive than a number of significant ski resorts and is only valid for 6 hours, well short of most lift-served resorts. The increase in numbers has led to strain on infrastructure (somehow there is only a single male cubicle on site to use for hundreds of people) and on the uplift. There were queues of over 25 minutes for a bus for the first hour or so of service (so 7% of your time to sit in a queue). These issues were irritating considering the £36ish per day I paid when I first starting using the park, but are completely unacceptable now that they are charging £53 (which will probably go up again soon given the recent trajectory). I understand price rises have affected everything but this is simply not a reasonable value proposition any more.read moreread less
- Darren Cook 19/09/2024Used to be an amazing place to ride. Trails are great. But that's it. Now a pure money machine. Taken 40 minutes to get on the first uplift, resulting in a lot less runs. Plus the price increase. Not about the service anymore. Staff response. That's life now. It's busy. I await the generic response.read moreread less

- Joe Blank 29/08/2024Poor customer service! Took my money and didn't provide the uplift service i paid for. Didn't even offer me a credit note! No communication Tuesdays and Wednesdays as they are COMPLETELY CLOSED and don't even have the man power to answer phone calls let alone even emails. BAD company. Again, like most others have commented. Their main goal is to selfishly maximise profits with Zero consideration to the riders. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT! BE WARNED!read moreread less
- James Stace 29/08/2024Visited with my family of 7 & 3 dogs from Eastbourne (Sussex) and had a great time. It was hard splitting myself in half and accommodating my older experienced boys 14 & 15 who like the red & black runs and my younger boys who can only ride the green but managed to work it as the wife was watching the dogs! Overall it’s a great place to visit, the setting is great, it feels a lot like the skiing experience but with wheels. Staff, food, drink were great too. Will definitely return.read moreread less

About
BikePark Wales was born from a passion to create the best mountain bike facility in the UK, the UK’s first full scale bike park to rival the best in the World. The BikePark Wales team have slaved day and night for 5 years to create this incredible facility. BikePark Wales is built for riders, by riders.
For intermediate mountain bikers through to seasoned downhill pro’s, BikePark Wales will offer you an incredible biking experience unlike anything you have experienced in the UK before. We even have a 1KM green run for beginners and can offer coaching sessions for riders at any level. The concept is simple, picture a ski resort, remove the snow and replace the pistes with an array of sweeping flowy bike trails meandering to the bottom of the mountain and you are close. Add a bunch of adrenalin and big sprinkle of fun and you are pretty much there. BikePark Wales is an exhilarating way to spend your day in the Welsh mountains. Our series of lift assisted trails for riders of all abilities offer the ultimate riding experience. With a mix of incredible all weather roller coaster trails and some of the best natural Singletrack the UK has to offer, we challenge you to control the silly grin on your face at the bottom of each run. Uplift: Our fleet of mini buses will transport you quickly, safely and comfortably to 491m, the top of our mountain, Myndd Gethin. You will be dropped off at the very top of the hill right next to the start of our trails. All that remains to do is select your route and whoop and holler your way back to the bottom of the mountain in time to catch the next lift up. If you would rather not use our uplift and you feel up to the challenge we also have a Singletrack climb so you can pedal your way to the top of the hill before choosing your route down.WHY PAY TO RIDE?
BikePark Wales is a unique mountain biking venue. We are the first place in the UK to have a full time crew looking after our trails and ensuring they are kept in great condition for your riding pleasure. BikePark Wales will also never be finished, we will continually re-invest in the park and create new sections of trail for your enjoyment. Our aim is to always be one of the best mountain biking destinations in the World, a must visit spot for all mountain bikers. Your entry fee will help us maintain and grow our trail network for years to come. Any rider caught trespassing on the trails without a valid pass will be fined on the spot, this will be enforced by our marshalls. Please play fair and help us grow the venue for everyone to enjoy.COMPANY VALUES

Our bus uplift fleet will transport you to the Summit of Mynydd Gethin at 491 metres elevation so you can enjoy the amazing variety of world class descending trails we offer. Simply select the day you wish to visit and follow the simple process to purchase your day pass, we strongly recommend pre-booking as day passes are seldom available on-spec. By purchasing an uplift day pass (price includes park entry) you have access to the uplift service for the duration of your visit and are able to use the uplift service as many times as you wish to maximise fun on the trails. Typically day pass riders are able to complete 10+ runs in a day giving them as much as 3,000 vertical metres of downhill single track heaven. If you are unable to pre-book your day pass you can arrive on a day of your choice and purchase a pedal pass and use the uplift on a pay as you go basis. Please note that pay as you go riders will only be able to get onto the uplift service when a seat becomes available. As a result, waiting times will vary depending on how busy the system is. Please remember that children aged 16 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times (including on the trails and on the uplift), no adult, no ride, no refund! If a booking is made for a person under the age of 17 you must notify BikePark Wales as soon as you book, notifying us of who will be accompanying them. There are no refunds if you turn up alone. Please note any bike with a tyre wider then 2.75″ will not fit onto our uplift trailers. Our trailers have been adapted to take childrens bikes with wheels 14 inches in diameter and larger. Please provide a valid mobile phone number when booking as we will need this to contact via mass text you if we have to close the park due to extreme weather conditionsPhotos
