About
A venue to relax, learn about the history of the area and its culture, through displays and exhibits. This historic building houses a main hall and foyer depicting the growth of Pontardawe and its surrounding areas from Neolithic to modern day. We have a reception/shop area where you can buy handcrafted gifts and local interest books, as well as a Visitor information centre. There is a separate exhibition space used by local craftspersons and artists, as well as regularly changing temporary exhibitions. We have seating indoors and outdoors with refreshments available. And a play/education area, so whilst you enjoy and take in the rich heritage, the little ones can keep themselves amused. Situated at the Old Stables, previously Pontardawe Library, off Herbert Street, down the lane past Dillwyn Arms Hotel.Photos
