For more information on the region please search for Visit Pontardawe. Sole Use of property and outdoor terrace, Shared use of surrounding grounds The cottage is located on our smallholding. It is detached and the adjacent outdoor dining terrace is for your sole use. Most guest enjoy their privacy, we are however available upon request to offer, advice on walks, beaches, attractions, pubs etc. The cottage is located on the side of a hill overlooking the village of Ynysmeudwy. It is highly recommended check out the interactive guide book feature which will show you where everything is in relation to the cottage, with travel instructions. There are mountain/ forest /river /canal / waterfall trails on the doorstep. Stunning beaches, huge waterfalls, challenging mountains, spectacular caves, are all within a short drive. The region is popular for trekking, mountain biking, gorge walking, caving, surfing, cycling, kayaking, skydiving, paragliding as well as for relaxing breaks and sight seeing. The small town of Pontardawe is a 25 minute walk, which has a public indoor swimming pool with separate child pool, arts centre with cinema, several nice pubs and restaurants, good selection of local shops including multi award winning butchery, bakers, greengrocers, supermarkets, tearooms, take out food outlets Local traffic free national cycle network, Local buses and taxis available, Closet train station is Neath (6 miles) or Swansea (10 miles) Off road parking is available accessed via private drive. Please note that the parking area is located approx. 100m from the cottage. Access to the cottage is via a hard surfaced path which is on an incline.
