Owls, bats, slow worms and cave spiders are native. We are located in a international dark sky reserve, the stars are amazing The neighbourhood is popular for adventure sports. Cannoning, white water kayaking, Rock climbing, Caving, Cave diving. We can give you details of local qualified guides if you would like to participate. No car? not a problem, you can travel from anywhere in the UK to Neath Train Station, then take the bus direct to the front door (approx 1 hour). You will know when to get off as we are the very last stop! The closest shops (co-op and mini Tesco) are approx. 1 mile away. There are two pubs serving food in the village (approx. 10mins walk). The Old White Horse and The Angel, both have very good reviews.
