Mumbles Beach

Mumbles beach is often mistaken for Swansea Beach. The beach in Mumbles is actually located on the headland next to Mumbles pier. It is a small sand and shale cove that is only accessible when the tide is out. It is possible to walk on to mumbles headland where mumbles light house is located, when the tides are low enough. Care must be taken not be cut off and the beach crossing should not be attempted if underwater due to the strong currents around the headland.
