Cwm Giedd Forest

Cwm Giedd Forest lies just north of Ystradgynlais , just off the A4067 in the Swansea Valley. There is a small car park. Its also possible to catch a bus buses to Cwmgiedd village. There are several trails in this wood. Its also widely used as an access point by hikers as several trails link up into the mountains on the western side of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Many of the lower level walking opportunities converge on Cwmgiedd village. There is a parking, picnic area and an information boards.
