- Neil Irvine 01/05/25I booked a table short notice to try make a rubbish week better for my girlfriend. Booked online then spoke to Aaron to help make it even better. He went above and beyond! I explained it was a bad week and I wanted to take girlfriend back to where our 1st date was. I asked if any chance I could get flowers from close by to be on table. He offered to go before work to get some and put them on the table for me. When we arrived the flowers were there! With water ready to put them in. The table was dressed romanticly too 😍😍 The staff and food was A class as it always is. That's why we've been many times. Aaron you made Lisa's day, no week can't thank you enough. Cheers buddy! - Tricia King 01/05/25Warm welcome to a clean and tidy atmospheric pub. Lots of choice on the menu and some delicious Easter additions 🐰. We chose the lamb shank and sirloin steak and the accomplishments were perfectly cooked and tasty. A very nice glass of wine, reasonably priced and lip licking home made cheesecake and rhubarb and custard filled us up, definitely going back. Thank you to all the staff front and back of house.read moreread less
- Vicki Rees 01/05/25We had the most fantastic Sunday lunch here. They managed to fit us in short notice as we hadn't booked and were so glad they did. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The service was quick and the food was absolutely delicious. My partner and I had Prawn cocktail for starters then the Sunday roast, I chose a bit of each meat, Lamb, Beef and Chicken with all the trimmings. My partner had the beef. The meat was really lean and tasty, accompanied by mixed veg and mash and a very tasty yorkshire pudding. At this point we would have declined a desert but happened to catch a glimpse of some going to another table, they all looked divine! We settled on Raspberry and White chocolate cheesecake and Nutella cheesecake - top marks! I will definitely be calling in again. 😋read moreread lessDeborah harrigan 01/05/25Fabulous Sunday Roast.
